Material & stack calculator
Know how much room your next build needs before gathering its materials.
Choose the actual stack size for your items. Use 1 for unstackable items. Container counts assume empty, compatible slots.

How the calculation works
For 1,000 items and a selected stack size of 64, the result is 15 full stacks and 40 loose items: 16 occupied slots. At 27 slots per container, they fit in one otherwise empty container.
Full stacks use integer division; loose items are the remainder. Slot and container counts round upward. These are packing calculations, not recipe conversions. Mixed item types, occupied slots, custom stack sizes, and container restrictions can change your actual storage needs.
Set the actual stack size for your edition, item, and server. Bedrock add-ons can specify stack size through the documented item component.
